Quigley Loop
If you are looking for a flat hike that offers some mileage, this is a solid option. The four-mile loop, bracketed by sage-covered hills, encircles Quigley Valley. Snow tends to melt quickly on the north side of the valley, so it is a good early/late season option. Quigley Pond sits at the halfway point of the hike, offering dogs a chance to play.
This is also a very popular mountain bike trail, so be aware of your surroundings, especially if you have dogs in tow.

There are no bathroom facilities at the trailhead.

The trail rolls along and at 1.9 miles come to Quigley Road. In early spring or when it is wet, it is likely that the rest of the loop is impassably muddy. In that case, either turn around and retrace your steps or complete the loop on Quigley Road.
If you do cross Quigley Road, you will quickly come to Quigley Pond. Walk along the edge of the pond and just after the 2-mile mark, come to a series of junctions. Stay right at the first junction, stay straight at the second junction and veer right at the third junction.

Continue along the rolling path, the valley now on your right, until you come to a junction at 3.35 miles. Stay right.

Immediately after the intersection, cross the road and then cross the valley by taking the dirt path that hugs the edge of the Sage School property

The path leads back to Quigley Road. Turn left and continue along the road until you return to the trailhead.
